This place has been fantastic and delicious. The staff is friendly and everything is very pretty. The music is nice too.

Nice restaurant with good Venetian food. Not touristy fare, but Italian food prepared with care.

This place was fantastic. Our server was an absolute sweetheart, and the caprese and tiramisu were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. What an absolutely amazing experience!

Best food we had after 5 days in Venice, would absolutely reccomend!<br>We had a bottle of wine, appetisers 2 mains and deserts and a Grappa.

This restaurant is an absolute hidden gem. It is hidden away near the Rialto Bridge and you wouldn’t think to stop when passing by, but you absolutely should. The Frito Misto and the zucchini shrimp pasta (daily feature) was incredible and by far the best meal we’ve had in Venice. Our server Camilla was the best, she was so patient and helped us navigate all of the great choices on the menu. This is a must for people who want real, authentic food and a great local experience

An incredible experience at Osteria Antico Dolo, a true gem in Venice.<br><br>We arrived looking for an authentic Venetian place, and it exceeded all our expectations. We tried the calamari nostrani grigliati, perfectly prepared and showcasing the quality of the ingredients, the tagliolini all’uovo with fresh tuna, Taggiasca olives and cherry tomato sauce, and the classic Venetian spaghetti with cuttlefish and its ink. Every dish was outstanding: authentic flavors, exceptional ingredients, and a kitchen that truly respects the quality of its products.<br><br>To finish, we had the tiramisù prepared fresh at the moment, which was the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner.<br><br>But Antico Dolo is much more than just great food. The service was exceptional, the atmosphere is warm, genuine, and full of Venetian character. You can feel the history, passion, and love behind every detail.<br><br>We leave Venice feeling that we discovered a truly special place. A restaurant with soul, incredible quality, and an authentic spirit.<br><br>Highly recommended. One of those places that makes a trip unforgettable.

Really chill , the old server is really sweet and friendly , service wasnt long at all , the chill italian background music playing while eating made the atmosphere so so good , and the Spaghetti alle seppie in nero alla veneziana was incredible, loved it

Had an absolutely incredible meal here when visiting Venice. Both me and my partner are gluten free and finding food suitable for ourselves was no issue at all here.<br><br>Our server did a fantastic job reassuring us that everything would be gluten free and showed us the allergen list on the menu detailing things clearly.<br><br>The food itself was fantastic. Quality oozing out of every mouthful and the entire pacing of the meal was perfect. Can highly recommend the mussels and clams. Desserts were incredible, the tiramisu was flavourful and generously portioned as was the dark chocolate mousse.<br><br>Our only disappointment is that we don’t live closer to this place. 5 stars. I recommend any person with a gluten intolerance or coeliac disease to book a table here.
